The Stahl Sport Radial from Excelsior Tire is inspired by vintage competition tires and is equally at home on vintage racers as it is on hot rods. This tire has also become very popular on deuce coupes, Model A hot rods and roadsters. Excelsior Tires are made in the USA and DOT/ECE (European Community) approved. Bias Look Radial Tire
The term "bias look radial" is something that Coker Tire created when we introduced the American Classic bias look radial product line. This means the tire has the appearance and the sizing profiles of a vintage bias ply tire, with modern radial construction. This provides an original look with a smooth ride and longer tread life, compared to bias ply tires. We offer bias look radial tires for vehicles ranging from the 1920's through the 1970's.

- Bias Look Radial tires feature genuine radial tire construction with bias ply tire size, profile and styling. These tires are built in brand new molds using modern materials and tooling. Typically the sizing is the same as their Bias Ply equivalents with the addition of 'R' in the size value. Tire mounted on wheel for demonstration purposes only. Wheel and other accessories are not included. Are these tires ok to use on a 21" Model A rim?

Answer:
These are a bit larger than the standard 440/450-21 Model A tires. A standard Model A rim is 3" wide, and the recommendation for this tire is 4" to 5". It is possible these might work, but we cannot guarantee this dimensionally or that they will wear uniformly if mounted on a narrower rim.
