Firestone Wide Oval Radial | RWL | FR70-14
We're proud to announce the new Firestone Wide Oval Radial tire, a product that will bridge the gap between authentic bias ply tires and modern radials. Designed and manufactured in the USA, using new molds and materials, this tire features authentic sidewall markings and tread pattern, with radial construction. This is the ultimate muscle car tire! The Firestone Wide Oval Radial offers fitments of most muscle car applications. The raised white letter version, seen here, features correct sidewall markings, even down to the correct size of the letters. It's time to put a set of Firestone Wide Oval radials on your muscle car.
Please Note
- Tire mounted on wheel for demonstration purposes only. Wheel and other accessories are not included. Please note that dimensions listed (tread width, section width and overall diameter) are non-scientific and based on an inflated tire, mounted to a wheel. Dimensions may vary due to rim width and inflation pressure. Please note Chemical Guys Tire and Rubber Cleaner and Adams Polish Tire shine has been linked to Whitewall browning and should not be used. We recommend using our line of tire care products.

Was this tire used on gm or ford or Chrysler cars in the early 70s?

Answer:
Hi there, Not this one in particular due to the fact that it is our radial rendition of the original bias ply tires. You would have seen these in a bias ply as an OE replacement option in the late 60's - early 70's. Thanks for your question,

Hi there, Actually, that size is one of the ones we recommend. That should be just fine with the 14" wheel option. Thank you for your question.
