Goodyear Power Cushion H.P. Blue Dot 775-15

The Goodyear Power Cushion HP Blue Dot tire offers specific fitment for 1965 through early 1967 Shelby GT350 Mustangs. These tires are historically accurate and feature the original 775-15 sizing. The tread pattern and sidewall markings are correct, including the 7/8-inch Blue Dot on the sidewall. This is perfect for your Shelby Mustang restoration.

Blueline Tires for Muscle Cars

For a very short period of time during the mid 1960's, tires were produced with a 3/8-inch blue stripe on the sidewall. Goodyear Blue Streak tires were the originator, but BFGoodrich also offered a blue line tire. These tires were available on select Mopar cars during 1965 and 1966. Bias Ply Construction

Bias ply tire construction is a method that was used from the 1900's through the 1970's on passenger cars and light trucks. Bias ply tires feature ply cords that run at a 45 degree angle to the bead, and overlap in a crisscross pattern, depending on how many ply layers are used. This creates a strong tire, but bias ply tires have a tendency to follow breaks or ruts in the pavement.
