185HR15 93H TL XVS Narrow Whitewall Tire
The Michelin XVS 185HR15 whitewall radial is a popular tire for vintage European cars, with OE Fitments for hundreds of applications. Direct fitment includes iconic sports cars, such as the 1962 through 1964 Ferrari 250, 1958 through 1974 Jaguar, and 1952 through 1957 Mercedes Benz. The sizing also works well on Triumph TR6, and other classic sports cars. This tire features a 1.48-inch whitewall and the modern radial construction offers excellent grip in all environments, and a long tread life. The 185HR15 sizing designates a 15-inch wheel fitment and an H Speed rating for safe operation and performance on today's highways. Genuine Narrow Whitewall Tire
Typically wide whitewalls run all the way to the bead. Narrow whitewalls will stop somewhere before the bead, resulting in a narrower band of exposed white rubber. The bright white rubber is added directly to the tire sidewall during initial construction of the carcass, resulting in a truly integrated, high-quality product after vulcanization. This style became popular in the early sixties, eventually replacing wide whitewalls altogether.
H Speed Rating
H Speed Rated Up to 130 mph (210 km/h). Often required OE for higher performance trim level classic automobiles.

Developed for high performance 70s classic cars with less driving noise. Thanks to a sculpture upgraded from the XAS, which is different on the right and left shoulder, this tire makes it possible to face the major high speed constraints on slippery winding roads. It benefits from tread design variations called "variable pitches" which aim to reduce noise while driving.
