We've been a little sneaky about showing the final product of our "Star Car" 1957 Chevy four-door sedan because we snagged a set of early sample tires for it and didn't want to spill the beans about the new product. But now, it's time! The Coker Classic Star Series whitewall radial tire is now available for purchase, so we wanted to show off the (almost) finished car. As with most project cars, it's still a work in progress, but the car has handled several road trips with ease. It still needs some attention, but we're loving the way it looks and drives with the new tires. It has an entirely different personality than it did with the billet wheels.

Of course, we had to finish off the rear tires before swapping over to the new wide whitewall tires. The ol' 327 is running great after Quick Everett's Garage worked out some of the bugs.

Up front, we mounted a pair of Coker Classic Star Series 205/75R15 tires to 15x6 inch OE Steel wheels. Out back, we went with a 235/75R15 tire, mounted to a 15x7 inch OE wheel. Gloss black paint and Spider caps finish off the old school look.

The lowered stance worked out perfectly for our new tire and wheel combo, giving our STAR CAR a great hot rod look. With 28 sizes, the Coker Classic Star Series offers a huge variety of fitments for bias ply replacement on classic cars, as well as big-and-little fitments for hot rods and customs. If you're unsure which tires to order, don't hestitate to reach out to one of our Star service members to get expert help on the correct fitment for your application.
