Every year, we travel to Pennsylvania several times to display and hopefully sell our products. We love going to the Carlisle Fairgrounds, a property that's made for car events. Whether it's the Spring swap meet, Fall swap meet or one of the specialty events, we always enjoy our time. This year, we made the trip to Corvettes at Carlisle, an event we've attended for many years. Corvettes at Carlisle has been going on for more than 40 years, and it's still going strong with an awesome car show, vendor midway, swap meet and many special feature areas. We spotted so many Coker-equipped Corvettes that it was hard to squeeze it all into one blog article, so we put together some highlights to show off some of our favorites. There were NCRS-correct restorations on site, as well as a huge variety of customs with big fender flares, wide tires and side pipes. Take a look at our highlights! 1964 Corvette convertible Saddle Tan Metallic paint looks great on this 1964 Corvette convertible, which rolls on a set of authentic bias ply 670-15 tires. 1953 Corvette The earliest of the C1 Corvette body style offers beautiful body lines. This example features Firestone bias ply tires. C3 Corvette convertible While there are a few cars that get trailered in and out of the Carlisle Fairgrounds, the majority of the Corvettes are driven to and from the show. This slick C3 is a great example. 1967 Corvette roadster You can't go wrong with a big block 1967 Corvette, especially one with a hardtop, aluminum wheels and 775-15 redline bias ply tires. 1962 Corvette Sporting a late '60s look, this 1962 Corvette features aftermarket five-spoke mag wheels and Goodyear raised white letter tires. 1967 Corvette big block convertible How about another 1967 Corvette big block convertible? This time, it's Marlboro Maroon Metallic. Redlines once again do the trick for this timeless Corvette. Coker Tire booth Steve and the Boyz were ready to assist customers all weekend long. Steve has been making the trip to Carlisle for decades, and he's always a friendly face at the booth. C4 Corvette convertible Although most of our products are geared toward earlier body styles, we have plenty of tire options for C4 Corvettes. C3 Corvette coupe Many people prefer the Rallye wheel, but it's cool to see these optional hubcaps on the occasional C3. They look great with the Firestone RWL tires. 1961 Corvette fuelie Bias ply wide whitewalls are the only way to go on a 1961 Corvette fuelie. This one is restored to perfection. 1958 Corvette fuelie This 1958 Corvette features fuel injection and a beautiful black paint job with silver coves and red interior. Coker Classic radials fit the bill. Red C1 Corvette with whitewall tires American Classic bias look radial tires are a great option for early Corvettes. 670R15 radials are available in wide whitewall, narrow whitewall (for 1962 to 1964) and blackwall. Corvettes at Carlisle The Car Corral was packed with cars for sale. It's a known fact that a car with authentic tires and wheels will bring more money. 1961 Corvette Corvettes are known for an iconic full wheel cover, but the smaller caps and painted steel wheels looks great on this stripped down 1961 Corvette. Bias ply blackwalls are the perfect option. NCRS Gallery The NCRS gallery featured more than a dozen beautifully restored Corvettes from nearly all generations. 1961 Corvette custom This 1961 Corvette features aged paint and some truly vintage details.
