Goodguys Nashville Nationals 2024 Coverage
Our spring schedule is always packed with events, many of which require our crew to drive long distances to attend. Lucky for us, there are several awesome events within a couple hours of our headquarters in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Such is the case with the Goodguys Nashville Nationals, an event that has been going on for nearly 20 years. It was originally held downtown but moved to Nashville Super Speedway a few years ago. The venue provides plenty of room for cars, vendors and spectators and has space for expansion as the event continues to grow. We always love Goodguys Nashville because that's the home of the Tanks Inc. Hot Rod of the Year competition, and many of the competitors use our Firestone Deluxe Champion tires.

Between the traditional hot rods and the more modern creations throughout the showfield, this event has a great variety of classics, muscle cars, hot rods & customs.

Goodguys 2024 Hot Rod of the Year Rolls on Coker Tire Products!
The Hot Rod of the Year Award isn't your typical car show trophy. It's an award that involves traditional hot rods that can actually be driven, and driven hard! Each year, more than a dozen hot rods enter the competition, and must do a reliability run, and even make drag racing passes to be eligible. This year, the competition was fierce with an awesome Top 5 selection, but it was ultimately Keith Hill's radical 1933 Ford five-window coupe that took top honors. His heavily chopped coupe is a creation from Pinkee's Rod Shop in Windsor, Colorado, and it features a slick Butterscotch paint job, Sid Chavers leather interior and fuel injected Cadillac engine. The car's overall profile and stance is downright mean, and it's accentuated by a set of our Firestone tires. Keith went with our Firestone 450/475-16 fronts and Firestone Dirt Track 890-16 rear tires for about five inches of rubber rake.
